As all visitors to the Brian Crowhurst Ringstead Fishery will have noticed the perimeter track between Barkers Lake and the River Nene has been upgraded.
This is in order to ensure that the road remains open during the wetter winter months. As most anglers will recall in previous years, the track has become impassable with vehicles getting stuck particularly in wet conditions.
We are sure that the enhanced access will permit many more anglers to enjoy the excellent fishing on the River this winter.
We must also thank our Sponsors for the significant contribution towards the cost of the track, The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and The Leader Programme for North and West Northamptonshire.
